EA207 series → ? – I couldn't find any official sources from both KAI Commuter and INKA regarding this EA207 name, and as I understand it, this name come from guesswork of the local railfans community. So, for now I proposed that this page should be renamed to either "CLI-225 series" (due to it being written on the trains itself, as seen in photos) or "INKA—J-TREC EMU" (following the Indonesian Wiki). Yeah, the internal number of INKA's new EMUs is complicated.
When the first trainset of EMU was still in the production process, the internal number of the EMU was actually EA204 series, but then a Facebook post said that the internalmber was skipped from EA204 series to EA207 series. The reason for skipping the trainternalmbering said to be so that Tokyo Metro 6000 series VVVF-IGBT, JR 205 series 5000 subseries (VVVF-IGBT), and SFC-120-V can be included in the PD8B number, for ease of maintenance (?).
So yeah, we should renamed it (at least temporarely until a confirmed information from INKA). Atleast either as "CLI-225 series", or "INKA—J-TREC EMU" Hayase Desta 205146M62 (talk) 18:27, 30 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
